Undisputed World Lightweight Champion Victory for Katie Taylor

Persoon held the WBC belt for nearly five years, and this match was billed as a bout between the two most talented fighters in the division.

Becoming the first Unified World Champion of the lightweight division, Taylor has the four most important titles in her power.

Joining two other Unified Champions Taylor moves up a level with Cecilia “The First Lady” Braekhus, at welterweight, and Claressa Shields at middleweight.
